For a long time I'd been thinking about compiling a duet book for 9-note chanters. I know some such books are already available, but each arranger brings their own approach (and I have a bit of a track record!).
 
I've chosen tunes both short and long, including one of Mr Dixon's variation sets. Most of the tunes are from Lowland, Border and Northumbrian sources, some are well known, some less familiar, and some of the more familiar tunes are given in (what I consider) better versions than the widely available ones.
